About Circle Singers
Circle Singers, a vocal chamber ensemble, is enjoying its 25th performance season in Washington, DC. The group performs medieval to contemporary music throughout the Washington metropolitan area.
For over two decades, Circle Singers and founder Sondra Goldsmith Proctor have provided continuing musical education for talented singers, enriched and educated the general public regarding choral music by presenting outstanding choral programs and forming outreach efforts within the Washington metropolitan area, and sought compositions which allow staging and choreography to enlarge the scope of the traditional choral concert.
Circle Singers' ability to portray the colors of a wide range of musical periods, styles, and languages has delighted its audiences everywhere. Reviews from The Washington Post have cited such qualities as "lovely tones and harmonious colors," "remarkable clarity," "wonderfully rich and warm," and "a nicely blended sound and careful attention to diction." Please participate in the joy of choral music by celebrating this 25th concert season with Circle Singers.
